As both an emerging scholar and artist, curiosity inspires me to research the complex issues, challenges, and opportunities our facing our world. This selection of research projects exemplifies the breadth of my intellectual pursuits.
This report is my final deliverable for my capstone project, "Assessment of the Innovation and Sustainability Ecosystems in Miami-Dade County, FL," completed to fulfill the requirements for the Master of Liberal Arts degree in Sustainability at Harvard University Extension School. Research was conducted between November 2025 and April 2026.
In this video, I discuss my summer 2024 artist residency in the town of Kokrobite, Ghana, where I explored sustainable fashion, fiber arts, traditional weaving crafts, and the second-hand clothing trade. This presentation was delivered at my alma mater, Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) on November 7, 2024, as part of the college's celebration of first-generation college students and the Fern Cunningham-Terry Memorial Fund, of which I was the first grant recipient.
